πŸ‘‹Hello to all the wonderful new faces joining my page! I’m thrilled to have you here on this creative adventure with me. πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈβš’οΈβœ¨

I wanted to take a moment to invite you π‘©π’†π’‰π’Šπ’π’… 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔 of my creative process!

1.) πŸ’ŽIt all starts with the stone - it’s the primary storyteller in my creations. Each stone holds its own unique earth energy, and I sit with them individually, absorbing their essence, crafting β€˜intuitively designed’ pieces.

2.) πŸ–€πŸ€βœοΈEver since my childhood drawing days, I’ve had a peculiar knack for sketching shadows on black paper with white pencil. I find this unique inversion helps me see the shadows more clearly. Placing a stone on a black canvas lets me see its story unfurl in my mind’s eye. With a white pencil, I bring to life the curves and lines that resonate with the stone’s energy.

3.) πŸ”₯Once the drawing is complete, I work with silver, sawing, soldering, and shaping each component. It’s in this process that the design around the stone evolves. The addition of the third dimension always introduces a subtle shift to the piece.

4.) πŸ’§Finally, my signature touch - the dew drops. These have been an ever-present feature in my work for almost a decade. They symbolize not just the place where I craft, rooted in the Alaskan temperate rainforest, but also the life and vitality that water brings to everything.πŸ’¦
