“We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate.”— Pico Lyer

40 Years One Big Dream

As I stepped into my 40s, something magical happened. Thanks to this incredible community, we didn't just reach our ambitious goal - we soared past it! What started as the most significant stretch goal I'd ever dared to dream became a reality through your support.

Beginning next year, a portion of proceeds from jewelry sales will go towards clean water initiatives in Bali, where I'll personally visit the programs to witness firsthand the impact our donations make in the lives of mothers and children in need of something as essential as clean water to drink.

My Big Dream

It all started when I spent a few winters traveling through Southeast Asia with my family. During our travels, we witnessed the heartbreaking struggles many children face—kids on the streets, malnourished, begging for food. While my heart wanted to help every child, I quickly realized that handouts weren’t a sustainable solution and, in some cases, even caused more harm.

This broke my heart, but it also planted a seed in me🌱—a dream to grow Twisted Ginger big enough to make a lasting impact and give back on a larger scale.💓

My time in Bali brought clarity to my dream and connected me with a company that truly shares my values. My new found friends there have played a crucial role in helping my business grow and flourish, offering me the opportunity to pursue my passion in ways I never thought possible.

Now, I’m committed to giving back by supporting programs that provide food, education, and clean water to children and mothers in need. This is my way of honoring the community that’s been instrumental in my journey.🌏💞🌎

Whether you’re shopping, sharing, or spreading the word, every bit of your support helps us get one step closer to making a lasting impact!

Thank you for being part of this journey with me and for making this last run of my 30s the best yet!

A Lasting Impact

“My dream is to grow Twisted Ginger into something big enough to make a lasting impact, where I can give back on a scale that truly reflects the heart and soul of my work.” ~ Erin Kandoll

In Indonesia, approximately 27 million people (or 1 in 10 Indonesians) lack access to clean drinking water. ( Dojo Bali Coworking) In some areas, up to 70% of household drinking water is contaminated with bacteria such as E. coli, posing severe health risks, especially to children under five. ( UNICEF / Terra Water ) These water issues often lead to diseases, which is a leading cause of death among young children. Clean water is essential for drinking and sanitation, especially in schools and birthing centers.

Reaching this financial goal will allow me to start giving back with every sale, and my next trip to Bali will focus on putting these initiatives into action.

I’ll be tracking progress on this meter daily throughout October on my website, stories and socials so you can follow along as we get closer to this milestone!

WE MADE IT!!!!!

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to each and everyone of you!!
